Hey guys,
We're having issues with our Database provider who apparently underestimated our traffic.
We will be migrating the Database to a larger and better server
ASAP, but until then, if you are stuck on the "get character" screen,
please log out and load back in the game until you get through.
The issue can't be fixed overnight, we are terribly sorry for the inconvenience, and will update you as soon as news arrives.

We are advancing on the issues bit by bit, we have fixed the "get character" problem, and have moved on to new issues that have arisen from the fix. There will still be connexion issues as we work on the server code (connexion server has been lost). We apologise once again and ask you to trust that we are working as fast and as hard as we can.
guys, seriously, you have an awesome looking game that made the Steam front page, and you didn't think that there'd be more than 100 people logging in on launch day? Not a good confidence booster
i cant even get to the "get character" screen, it locks up immediatly after i enter my login info

@Gruzbad, to give them a benefit of a doubt, their database provider seems to be the one to blame. My company was in a similar situation before where our network provider was trying to cut corners without us knowing it until the damage was done. As you said, it's an awesome looking game. The beta was super.
In the end, though, no game = angry gamers (myself included).

Really sorry guys, we are working actively to resolve the issue. I know this must be really annoying to buy a new game and not being able to play, but I promise we are doing our best to fix everything as fast as possible.

One part of my brain says... be reasonable, be patient...
The other part is raging: WHAT THE HELL, THEY CAN'T DO SIMPLE SHIT RIGHT? WHY DID I JUST WASTE 15 DOLLARS!
First World Problems.
I'm not one to usually complain when games aren't perfect from the launch date. Updates and patches are nearly every single time needed and provided. But I find this a little silly and stupid. I mean not only did the game reach the front page on steam; but what really bothers me is the fact this game is only multiplayer gameplay.. so what did you expect as for data traffic and people trying to log on ? I mean really I just give it as long as the dev team needs to fix this but I can understand why people would completely give up at this point on their purchase. It's just very very dissapointing.
Well I hope the issue is resolved soon because apperantly it's still a problem at the moment , good luck to the dev team on solving this issue
and to everyone else , i hope to see you in game .. some day.
Okay, I can wait until tomorrow, but I'm having the same problem - get character screen :(
