Catch a First Glimpse Into the CronaMind Laboratories
Hey guys!
As we weed through the last bugs and optimizations before the Alpha Pre-Order release at the end of January, our art team continues to work on different environments for the game.
Here are the first screens of the CronaMind labs, a division of CronaCorp, situated in Kyoto, Japan, where engineers and scientists work to unlock the secrets of the brain, research AI behaviour and the enhancement of the mind via technology.
When designing this environment, we were looking for a stark contrast with the urban warefare level that is our Paris map. We were looking for something clean and artificial, to represent the scientific nature of the place, as well as some Asian influences.
These are couple of screenshots that reflect what we are working on, the color schemes and textures are not final, but they will give you an idea of what we are working on!
The first screen capture is one of the entrances to the laboratory, the second is a recreation room.
We hope you enjoy them!

Looks nice, tech-y, and cold.
The lights on the walls are nice, as well as the vertical ones on the tables, I love them!
The holographic screens (I guess) in the middle of the room give off a good advanced tech feel.
The entrance looks neat.
Only problem is a slight lack of cohesion in the room with couches having tables and others not, and the two big boxes that don't look like they have any purpose whatsoever. What are they?

The boxes in the rec room are actually coffee machines, but it is hard to tell from that angle
The big machine in the elevator screen is a mind upload device, but the sense of scale is hard to tell!!
