Now first of all, I really do enjoy the game play in this game and hope it has a bright future.

But, I am a little upset that I was able to buy the game in its current state from steam. So many problems, with disconnects, crashes, errors logging in (you are already logged in), Disconnect from host, "opps you've crashed" errors. UI errors where you can no longer click on your UI to cancel an order you gave by mistake, UI problems where you cannot select another squad member without using TAB, respawn probems where i could not respawn my sniper for 3 turns and other times where I could only give orders to just one squad member.

I'm a little upset, mainly that I was able to purchase a "completed game", now I understand all games have bugs and problems at release, but this is clearly not a release standard.

Sorry for my complaint but I've been trying hard to play this game properly all day.

Hi Skip, I understand your frustration and I deeply apologise for the issues you have experienced. I know it doesn't mean much, and sounds like PR bullshit, but we really do care about your experience and are working round the clock fix the game. A patch coming as soon as the beginning of next week will fix some of the most critical bugs ( disconnects, leavers, unclickable UI, crazy camera, shadows etc) and we are preparing for a second one the week after. I know this is not ideal, but all I can say is we are comitted to making a great game and won't stop until the experience is satisfying for the majority.

I think my problem is not that the game is bad, the concept is amazing and something I've been looking for out of shadowrun online and a few other games (fallout is one of my loves).

My problem is, if you are going to make people play what is essentially an unpolished pre-release game... A: Don't make them pay for it expecting amazing, and B: tell them so, tell them it's getting better, tell them what to expect. At the price I paid it isn't bad, but its mostly unplayable, and even though my first game I picked up well and rocked my opponent, having him leave, the game drop, I got nothing and that above all the other bugs the replay camera being funky.

It feels unpolished, something that I feel like internal testing should of been done to fix or be seen. IF your testers aren't like "This game is awesome", don't release it. This is from a guy who wants into the industry and is so jealous of you guys for getting to produce something this cool. Please keep up the work, I'm looking forward to it.

That issue will be fixed at the beginning of the week. SHould have been in the game at release, I agree, but we didn't forsee that issue, as people nerver left during beta... Sorry.

Don't sweat it, just things to think about for future games or releases. Good companies polish... hard, open beta testing would of also been good to not only highlight issues but draw attention to the game.

Is there a simple way of us relaying to you bugs we encounter? through a software/game-account rather than sending an email? As I am sure many of us would like to help resolve issues rather than just complain. As the only way I know of sending you bug/error information is through email information I got at account registrations. Which I'm sure you agree is not the most convenient or quickest solution that encourages players to help.

I understand you are committed to the game, hell the game has a super solid foundation, its a game I wanted for some time.

I just stumbled upon you guys. I'm impressed already that you are doing it old school. Game looks wonderful, and really dont mind helping with positive feedback. BTW. I am old school, and remember watching a pong machine get installed.....

All these "we're working hard to fix the game" comments from Yshaana are nice, but this stuff should have been done BEFORE launch. We shouldn't have had to spend our money for you to beta test the game.

Working round the clock after launch to make the game somewhat resemble a complete game is too little too late. The damage has already been done. I'm afraid this game is going to wind up in my pile of wasted money indie support projects.

Posting this in every thread is not very useful. Also if you wanted the game to be polished you should have played the BETA.

Im loving this game, i think the only thing its missing is being able to customize the appearance of characters. i havnt found the bugs to be that much of an issue.
